Utility Scissors 19 cm

Utility Scissors are heavy-duty shears with stainless steel blades and moulded plastic finger rings for cutting bandage, tape, gauze, PPE, and other non-metallic materials in the dental and oral surgery setting. The angled blade geometry keeps the operator's fingers clear of the cutting surface, and the blunt-tipped lower blade slides under dressings safely when removing bandage from tissue. Equate Instruments builds the 19 cm scissors with blades in stainless steel and handles in moulded polymer, producing a lightweight instrument that is easy to identify on a utility tray. The blades are suitable for surface-level disinfection between uses.

LaGrange TC Suture Scissors Curved - 11 cm

The LaGrange TC Suture Scissors Curved is an 11 cm intraoral suture scissor with a double-curved blade profile and tungsten carbide cutting inserts brazed into the blade edges. The sharp curved beak follows the arch of the palate or the curve of a posterior flap so the operator can trim sutures and fine tissue at a natural hand angle, and the TC inserts hold their edge through repeated autoclave cycles far longer than plain stainless blades. Gold-plated ring handles flag the TC variant at a glance across a tray. This Equate Instruments scissor is supplied non-sterile and is fully autoclavable for in-clinic steam sterilisation.

LaGrange Double-Curved Suture Scissors - 11.5 cm

The LaGrange Double-Curved Suture Scissors is an 11.5 cm intraoral scissor with a distinctive S-curve blade that sweeps past the shaft so the tip can reach over tissue without the operator's hand blocking the surgical site. The fine pointed beak cuts sutures flush to the knot and trims delicate gingival margins during periodontal flap surgery. Ring handles and a balanced finger-ball pivot give predictable two-finger control, and the corrosion-resistant stainless steel body is fully autoclavable between patients. This Equate Instruments scissor is supplied non-sterile for in-clinic steam sterilisation in pouches or cassettes.

LaGrange TC Suture Scissors - Black Coated

The LaGrange TC Suture Scissors with Black Coating is a double-curved intraoral scissor fitted with tungsten carbide cutting inserts and finished with a low-reflectivity black coating over the stainless steel body. The black surface cuts operating-light glare at the surgical field, and the tungsten carbide inserts hold their edge far longer than plain stainless blades through repeated autoclave cycles. The S-curve blade follows the palatal arch and posterior flap contour so the operator can trim sutures flush and clean gingival margins without obstructing the line of sight. This Equate Instruments scissor is supplied non-sterile and is fully autoclavable for in-clinic steam sterilisation.

Iris TC Scissors Curved - 11.5 cm

The Iris TC Scissors Curved is an 11.5 cm fine-bladed surgical scissor with tungsten carbide cutting inserts and gold-plated ring handles that identify the TC variant at a glance. The short pointed blades curve gently to follow tissue planes so the operator can trim fine soft tissue, free adhesions, and shorten suture tags in confined intraoral sites. The tungsten carbide inserts hold a sharp edge through repeated autoclave cycles far longer than plain stainless blades, and the corrosion-resistant body is fully autoclavable between patients. This Equate Instruments scissor is supplied non-sterile for in-clinic steam sterilisation.

Iris TC Scissors Straight - 11.5 cm

The Iris TC Scissors Straight is an 11.5 cm fine-bladed surgical scissor with tungsten carbide cutting inserts and gold-plated ring handles. Short straight pointed blades follow a straight line of cut into soft tissue, making them suited to suture trimming, fine tissue cutting, and freeing adhesions where a curved blade would follow the wrong plane. The tungsten carbide cutting inserts hold a sharp edge far longer than plain stainless blades, and the gold handles identify the TC variant on a busy instrument tray. This Equate Instruments scissor is machined from corrosion-resistant stainless steel and is fully autoclavable for in-clinic steam sterilisation.

Iris Suture Scissors Straight

The Iris Suture Scissors Straight is a fine-bladed intraoral scissor designed for precision suture trimming and soft-tissue work. Short straight pointed blades meet at a fine beak that cuts flush to a suture knot without catching the surrounding mucosa, and the lightweight stainless-steel body gives a balanced feel during extended suturing and closure procedures. Ring handles with a gold-plated finish help staff identify it on a mixed tray, and the corrosion-resistant body is fully autoclavable between patients. This Equate Instruments scissor is supplied non-sterile for in-clinic steam sterilisation in pouches or cassettes.

Metzenbaum Fine Straight Scissors - 13 cm

The Metzenbaum Fine Straight Scissors is a 13 cm tissue-dissection scissor with long slim blades and a delicate pointed tip, built for blunt and sharp soft-tissue dissection during oral and periodontal surgery. The fine pattern has thinner blades than a standard Metzenbaum, giving clearer access through fibrous tissue planes without heavy tissue displacement. The long shank-to-blade ratio keeps the operator's hand clear of the surgical view during intraoral work. This Equate Instruments scissor is machined from corrosion-resistant stainless steel, is supplied non-sterile, and is fully autoclavable for routine in-clinic steam sterilisation.

Classic Suture Scissors Straight 11.5cm

The Classic suture scissors are a polished stainless-steel instrument for routine suture trimming and soft-tissue cutting in oral and periodontal surgery. The straight fine-point blades approach knots in a direct line of sight, making them well suited to post-operative suture removal and to intra-operative trimming of absorbable sutures close to the knot. The 11.5 cm working length balances tip precision with enough leverage for confident cutting, and the polished ring handles give a comfortable three-point grip. Fabricated from stainless steel and delivered non-sterile by Equate Instruments, the instrument is fully autoclavable and ready for processing in pouches or cassettes.

Metzenbaum Fine Curved Scissors - 14.5 cm

The Metzenbaum Fine Curved Scissors is a 14.5 cm tissue-dissection scissor with long slim curved blades and a delicate pointed tip, built for soft-tissue dissection that follows a tissue plane rather than a straight line. The gentle curve lets the operator work around vascular structures and between fascial layers without constantly repositioning the hand. The fine-pattern blades are thinner than standard Metzenbaum and are designed for precision work through fibrous tissue. This Equate Instruments scissor is machined from corrosion-resistant stainless steel, is supplied non-sterile, and is fully autoclavable for in-clinic steam sterilisation.

Classic Suture Scissors Curved 11.5cm

The Classic suture scissors are a polished stainless-steel instrument for routine suture trimming and soft-tissue cutting in oral and periodontal surgery. The curved fine-point blades follow the contour of the papilla and interproximal sites, making them well suited to trimming sutures tucked against the tissue and to cutting at difficult angles where a straight blade cannot lie flat.
